Dr. William Rees practiced in Upper Canada and was particularly involved in the setting up of a lunatic asylum in that province

Scope and Content

Fonds contains the manuscript of Dr. William Rees on the treatment of malaria, a lecture given before the Natural History Society of Montreal in the 1860’s

Fonds given in 1965 to the Osler Library. Colonel Hill of Ottawa, a descendant on the maternal side of Dr. Rees. F.C. Pace, from the Department of National Health and Welfare was an intermediary. Old accession number 111.
