This site has been designed and is maintained by Chris Lyons, B.A., Dip. Ed, M.A., M.L.I.S., Assistant History of Medicine Librarian, Osler Library of the History of Medicine, McGill University. It was originally designed in March-April 2005 as a course project, GSLIS 634, at the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies, McGIll University. It was taught by Eric Bungay.

The site was written using XHTML Transitional 1.0 and CSS, and tested in Netscape Navigator (7.2), Internet Explorer (6.0) and Mozilla Firefox (1.0.2).

A free text editor by Chami.com, called HTML-Kit, was used to build the site. The archival information has been placed in an Access database searched using Cold Fusion.

Any comments and suggestions about this site should be given to Christopher Lyons
Tel: (514) 398-4475 ext. 09847, e-mail: follow the standard McGill format of firstname.lastname@mcgill.ca [all lower case]

The Osler Library would like to thank Caroline Cholette for her work producing the RAD compliant archival descriptions, and the Young Canada Works project of the Government of Canada, for funding her effort. Greatly appreciated help was given by David Crawford, Librarian Emeritus of McGill University, Larry Deck and Chester Ntonifor.
